Mauricio obtained the title of Public Accountant from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, ITAM (1985-1989). He has a Diploma in International Taxes from the ITAM "Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México" and the International Tax Program at Harvard University (1994-1995).
With almost 30 years of experience in public accounting, Mauricio Cortina has focused in the last 25 years, to provide BPO services to multinational and foreign corporations doing business in Mexico, his clients are from various industries and sizes of public and private sectors and its practice advising and supporting Mexican corporations recently incorporated in the country create and build solid working relationships with clients, their services are tailored to the specific needs of their clients, they function as a financial controller and while those companies start to grow in Mexico, the services are modified specialized to provide continuous high quality services at all time.
Even his experience in auditing during the first years of his professional practice, for independence reasons, Mr. Cortina decided not to provide such services to his clients because in most cases his clients are audited by Big firms, an always maintains a good relationship with the auditors of all companies, including small ones.
Mr. Cortina has been an active participant in charitable causes, including the Francisco Díaz de León IAP Asylum, for more than 20 years (Institution for the elderly), the Mexican Human Rights Commission AC, where he has participated without financial remuneration in meetings directives and executive committees.
